If there’s one thing Christians can work on regarding keeping the Sabbath Holy, it’s going to church on time. Generally speaking, going to church late comes down to a lack of preparation. There’s always going to be an excuse or there’s always going to be something that comes up in getting in the way of getting to church on time. So what can we do about it?
Instead of trying to get to church right when it starts – let’s say for example 11am, set a goal to arrive at your church EARLY! Too many Christians make it out to church while praise already started. You rush to church and feel anxious, burdened, or scrambled.
Be intentional with keeping the Sabbath Holy by going to church early so you can do one thing – prepare your heart for praise and worship to the Lord Almighty.
Would you be late to an important interview? What about an important date or special meeting?
Show up early to church FOR THE LORD!
When you arrive early, find a seat or a private room and take time to pray a specific prayer – Lord, please fill me with your Spirit to prepare my heart to worship you.
